Meet the Characters with Andrea R. Cooper

Andrea Cooper cover OctHello and welcome to my blog for another round of Meet the Characters! Today I am featuring a guest blogger who has graciously agreed to let me do a character interview, which is my favorite kind of interview. Join me in welcoming author, Andrea R. Cooper, and her characters from The Guardian. It’s a fantastic romance with wonderful characters so without further ado here is the interview with Kaden and Anne.

How did you first meet your writer?

Anne: My husband had just died and I didn’t think I’d ever find love … especially since I didn’t have it in my marriage either.

What are your favorite scenes in your book: the action, the dialog or the romance?

Anne: The romance. Kaden was amazing even though I pushed him and his love away until I couldn’t stay away from him.

What do you like to do when you are not being actively read somewhere?

Kaden: We travel the world and take advantage of all the different beds. *waggles eyebrows and Anne blushes*

Are you happy with the genre your writer has placed you in?

Anne: Yes. Historical Romance short story with a paranormal twist is perfect

Do you like the way the book ended?

Kaden: In a way … since it was a short story, our adventure is just beginning.

Anne: Maybe our writer will create other short stories showing our continuation and life.

What is your least favorite characteristic your writer has attributed to you?

Kaden: That I’m a bit cocky and conceded. I can’t help it if women are attracted to me.

What is your greatest fear?

Anne: For the longest time, it was Kaden becoming abusive like my ex. But no matter how much I challenged him, he never rose his voice or hand towards me.

What do you wear when you go to sleep?

Kaden: Now that I’m not sleeping in a barn on a stack of hay, nothing.

What do you think your greatest weakness is?

Anne: Kaden. I wouldn’t be here without him. He saved my life.

Kaden: And stubbornness – that’s another weakness of hers. *Anne punches Kaden in the arm* Ow!

What do you think is your strongest attribute?

Kaden: Her right hook

Anne: My determination

What embarrasses you?

Anne: That I stayed in an abusive, loveless marriage for so long. I lost who I was and it nearly kept me from finding happiness and love with Kaden.

What turns you on?

Kaden: Anne. Everything about her from the way she bites her lip while she’s cooking, to laughing when we ride across country as fast as the wind. To even know when the focus is on her, she blushes.

What turns you off?

Anne: Injustice

Kaden: Hatred and wars. I’ve seen too much of both.

Do you believe in ghosts/evil spirits/mysticism? Would you spend the night in a remote haunted house?

Anne: I didn’t until I met Kaden.

What’s your favorite animal?

Anne & Kaden: Unicorns!
